Some pieces have a life before they become yours. This blouse has a more personal origin than most. The embroidered cotton tablecloths it is made from were gifted by family friends in Scotland — pieces that had lived in a home, been laid on a table, held within them the memory of meals and occasions. They travelled to a small studio in east Berlin, where they were cut, combined and sewn by hand into this one-of-a-kind patchwork blouse. The patchwork construction means no two sections are exactly alike — different embroidery patterns sit alongside each other, creating something that feels genuinely unique and quietly personal. Pure cotton makes it soft and comfortable. Long sleeves give it year-round versatility. Wear it with straight-leg jeans and ankle boots for an effortless everyday look. Tuck it into a midi skirt for something more considered. Layer it under a coat on cooler days — the embroidery detail makes it worth showing.
