Some pieces have a life before they become yours. This dress began on three different sourcing trips — a Berlin flea market, a thrift store in Italy, a market in Scotland. Multiple colourful floral embroidered tablecloths, each found separately, each with its own story, brought together in a small studio in east Berlin and transformed by hand into something completely new. The patchwork of colours and floral embroidery patterns is joyful and completely one of a kind — no two panels are the same, and the combination of fabrics from three different countries gives it a richness that simply cannot be replicated.
